Activate your licence

Your key arrived by email and looks like TR1.…. It works on Transparency straight away — there is no account to create.

transparency --activate TR1.xxxxx.yyyyy
transparency --license

If it will not activate

• “That doesn't look like a licence key.” The key was probably truncated in transit. It is one long line with two dots and no spaces — copy it again from the email, including the TR1. prefix.
• “That licence key isn't valid.” The signature did not check out. This happens if a character was altered — some mail clients helpfully “correct” long strings. Try pasting it into a plain text editor first.
• “That licence has expired.” That is a trial key that has run out. Buying a licence issues a new, perpetual one.
